I found this great article about sugar. It pretty much answered every question I ever had about the difference between processed sugar and fruit sugar and their effects on the body and mind. I also live with a dietician, and she says that women should eat no more than 25.2 grams of processed sugar per day–that is only six teaspoons!!!
Dr. Nay seems to be a reliable source, and have her topic well-researched, but I can’t vouch that all of these statements are true. I find this article helpful and interesting.

I have been dieting and exercising regularly for a little over a month now. Last week, I moved into a new apartment. I had lost close to 20 pounds, but on my NEW bathroom floor, my weight reads 6 pounds heavier! Which reading is true? I KNOW I have lost even more weight, but my scale says otherwise. Does the density of the floor have anything to do with the readings of the scale? My old house had hardwood floors, and now I have flimsy linoleum. Or….should I buy a new scale?
Exercise allows you to get high on your own body fluids. I love it! Although, I don’t love getting up at 6 AM to go to the gym…but the results are fabulous. Not only am I more alert during the day, but I sleep better at night. Not to mention I loose weight when I exercise regularly. In a couple of weeks, I am going to begin a new exercise plan. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I will go to the gym, and on Tuesday and Thursday, I will do yoga. What should I do on the weekends?…
